All rooms are en-suite with T.V. and have wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean, neighbouring islands and the unique unspoilt environment of Inis Meáin. It is a family run business, open all year, centrally located beside Synge's museum, shop, church and at the foot of a very well preserved pre-historic fort. The atmosphere at An Dún is very relaxed with homely, friendly, flexible and professional service.

On return After an afternoon of cliff walking, a stroll on the beach or a fishing trip, you can relax in our home made sauna or steam shower, or treat yourself to an aromatherapy massage, after dinner pay a trip to the nearby traditional thatched pub and enjoy the starry night sky in safe and secure surroundings.

On the premises, there is also an Intimate Restaurant featuring 2 dining rooms with open fires and fantastic views, where wholesome and traditional food are cooked to order. Delicious homemade starters and desserts, Local wild salmon, and other local wild fish are always available. Local organic ingredients. Vegetarian dishes available. Homemade ice-creams, pastries, cakes and breads. Licenced to sell wine. Shop on the premises selling groceries, sweets, drinks, phone top-up, post cards, books, stamps, fishing tackle, etc.. and Bureau de Change.
