B&B Accommodation in the Kylemore Area of Connemara

Built by Lord Ardelaun in 1785 and the former residence of the famous Irish writer and poet Oliver St. John Gogarty, this impressive Georgian house now offers a high standard of accommodation in this beautiful setting on the shores of Kylemore lake.

    

Consisting of  6 en-suite bedrooms, all individually decorated and renovated to a high standard with spacious en-suites and lake view as standard. There are tea/coffee facilities in all rooms.

Facilities include the famous Kylemore House Fishery, which has hosted anglers from far and wide for over two hundred years. The lakes upper, middle and lower are famous for salmon and sea trout.
Fly-fishing only permitted on the lakes. Boats are available for hire.

Packed lunches and evening meals are available on request.

We also cater for groups.
