Owned and operated by the third Island sea faring Concannon family – we are happy to assure a warm and friendly welcome on board the “Island Discovery”.

Situated 10km off the Northwest coast of Connemara, the island is renowned for it’s magnificent scenery, historical and archeological features,( see map here ) it’s rare flora and an abundance of wildlife.

Cleggan is the point of departure for ferry service to the island.It is only a 30 minute crossing from Cleggan to Inishbofin aboard the fast, comfortable ferry - “The Island Discovery”.

Inishbofin offers a range of facilities and services including Hotels, Restaurants, B&B’s, Cottages, Shops and Crafts.
