Mini-Bus Tours are
available from Peter Enda Mc Donagh, visiting the archaeological and ancient
ruins on Inis Mor,
Tours operate usually on
an hourly basis and are approx. 2.5 hour’s duration. There is a guided
commentary throughout the tour incorporating local island history and culture.
The highlight of the
tour is the stop at Dun Aonghasa - the
great fort which stands on the edge of the sea cliff nearly 100m high.You can
spend an hour or two at this magnificent site and savour the uniqueness of this
tranquil yet vibrant location - on the Edge of Europe.
The tour costs € 10 per
adult and group rates are available on request.
