Experience a century of sailing on “The Truelight “. A Trip Not To Be Missed !!!

Feel the wind on your face, taste the sea-salt on your lips, hear the rush of water and the creaking of old timbers: this is not some theme park - this is a living, vibrant piece of history. When on board The Truelight it is easy to let your mind go back to a time when working and living was governed by tides and wind.

The Truelight sails from April to October, weather permitting. Places are limited to 12 people, so booking in advance is advisable.You can expect to enjoy the unique sights of Connemara, from the lovely harbour of Roundstone to the uninhabited, pilgrimage island of Saint Macdara. There is an abundance of wildlife to enjoy: seals, porpoises, herons, cormorants and other sea birds. There are many hooker regattas and races throughout the sailing calendar and you are welcome to join us in the competition!
